MaxiFlow HF Process Description

Model Specification 99.99 %

Ambient air is compressed in a separate lubricated, air-cooled compressor. This compressed air (10 bar g) enters a refrigerated dryer and filters for removal of water and oil, then flows through the carbon molecular sieve inside the absorber beds where Oxygen is adsorbed and Nitrogen leaves the adsorbed bed. During adsorption in one bed, the second bed is regenerated by depressurization to ambient pressure. The adsorption / desorption cycle is controlled by a fixed sequence of a PLC-controller. Nitrogen flow and purity is preset during test operation prior to shipment of the system.
