The N2-Flow Nitrogen Generator

Why Have a Nitrogen generator in your laboratory?
Producing enough good quality nitrogen in a laboratory can be a tricky business, especially if you use bottles.
Why go though all the hassle of ordering, taking delivery and connecting bottle after bottle when our nitrogen generators can do all the hard work for you.
Efficient and compact, our N2 Flow range is perfect for every laboratory and budget, especially if you require small amounts of high purity gas for gas chromatography.
Our N2 Flow range can produce constant flows from as little as 1L/min up to 10L/min high purity nitrogen.

Features and benefits

* Need minimal maintenance
* Are extremely safe
* Produce exceptionally pure nitrogen
* Maintain a consistent gas pressure
* No administrative paperwork
* No health and safety issues
* Two year Warranty

How the N2 flow generator works

Oil-free compressed air enters the generator through a 0.01 micron filter, where an integrated auto-drain removes contaminants and the bulk of the moisture. The air flows through the solenoid valve, building the pressure inside the column. An integral carbon molecular sieve and residual moisture trap adsorb the remaining oxygen, leaving the dry nitrogen ready for immediate use.

FAQ

What is PSA?

PSA stands for pressure swing adsorption. Note that it is AD-sorption, not AB-sorption. What's the difference? The generally accepted use of "absorb" implies a sponging effect. But the term has been misused for a long time. Absorption is actually a process involving a chemical change. Since nothing we do is chemical, (our process involves physically separating molecules) the process of separating molecules of gas from each other is correctly called adsorption.

What are the Maintenance Costs?

Filter cartridges need to be replaced based on a maintenance schedule. The maintenance is a simple procedure which can be carried out on the field. But for extra peace of mind we do offer Spares Kits that obtain all standard parts

What is included with the System?

Apart from a two year warranty and no-quibble guarantee, our systems are composed of a nitrogen generator and if required an air-cooled compressor. For certain applications its necessary for a dryer and tank to be supplied also. In House Gas does dryers, so therefore we offer them as part of the system package.

Do you have any references?

Yes. We would be delighted to offer a number of references.

Do you rent or lease your systems?

Yes, please contact us for details.

What pressure and purity do the generators produce?

We design our systems to meet you application pressure requirements. Our nitrogen generators can provide purities from 99% to 99.9995%. Whatever your requirements are, we will do our utmost to meet them.

How much do they cost?

Generator costs vary. We work with you to properly size the system to meet your purity, flow rate, and pressure requirements. Once this is done, we can make a formal price quote, and help calculate your payback time (which you might find to be surprisingly fast.) Please tell us more about your application needs.

Can I change the purity and flow of the system?

NO!! This will make your warranty void. Do not change the purity or flow without calling us.

Do I have to replace the CMS?

With proper filter maintenance and input air quality, the sieve material will last the life of the system
